Nutrition Education - the decision made!

At the age of 45 I can attest to the fact that I will never allow myself to stop learning. I am on a constant moving treadmill to keep my mind filled with knowledge that excites me and that I can somehow share with others. My history of different endeavors is interesting and always changing. This may finally be the Ultimate Endeavor that peaks my mind and keeps it content in one place - an education in Nutrition. This has always been an interest - staying fit, eating right and I realize now at the age of 45 it is time to get Serious about it! Something happens to the body once it hits the age of 40 (you don't realize it right away) but it happens! I remember several years ago my Mom telling me "Once you hit 40 you get wrinkles here and there, at 50 things start to sag and at 60 well......... You ain't that Spring chicken no more! I looked at her and took it with a grain of salt - Well, Mom was right - as always! Your body changes at different ages as you get older!

I want to understand and embrace the changes and make sure I am keeping myself and family as healthy as I can. So today I sent in the application and fee to start my online education to become a Nutrition Specialist. It's not cheap and when I told my husband he actually seemed mad - but I can't blame him - this is not my first endeavor and he has lived through them all during our 22 years of marriage.

I hope to share my "Journey to become a Nutrition Specialist" here and hope that it gives others insight that helps them as they journey through the ages.
